The NZ Herald assured TeManawa this morning they would remove the heading of the article on Judy Bailey, after TeManawa made a phone call to have a retraction on the words “Mother of the Nation” TeManawa stated this is like calling Judy Bailey The Prime Minister of NZ. The NZ Herald has responded by stating that they have pointed out it is a nick name Judy Bailey is known by and are fine meaning in legal format and that if some one had the nick name Prime Minister of NZ they would use that too.
The Heading is misleading, distracts and diverts from The official office of Mother of the Nations now held by TeManawa and previously held by Whenna Cooper. Hiding behind methods ( loop holes) re nicknames and not doing what is right is the stance the NZ Herald has taken. They have broken their word to TeManawa this morning by giving assurance this heading would be retracted.
I am upset, it is never nice when people break their word to you. I work very hard at what I do as Mother of The Nations. I take what I do very seriously as it holds enormous responsibility and authority. I put my entire being into what I do in this role as it is a spiritual office too. I am a stickler for honorable and like most people in the world today see it as discouraging that there is such a lack of respect, integrity and honor everywhere.
